Performance Management
Effective performance management is supported by a system that covers all the activities along the cycle of performance planning, improvement, monitoring and performance communication. This type of system supports the effective communication of performance with all stakeholders and provides managers with support for both strategic and operational decision-making. In performance management, great emphasis is placed on the needs-based and timely distribution of information to all levels of the company – everyone gets exactly the information they need to work with their processes.Callista Group provides you with support in the performance management cycle in the following areas:
Performance planning
- Strategic planning (long-term)
- Operational planning: budgeting and forecasting
- Use and functionalities of planning tools
- Authorisation and approval workflows
Performance measurement
- Definition of key performance indicators (KPI)
- Provision of data
Performance monitoring and evaluation
- Goal monitoring
- Alert functionalities
- Business activity monitoring (BAM)
Performance communication
- Management cockpits and dashboards
- Performance reports
The integration of strategic and operational planning (closed loop) is a core feature of performance management. Conceptual and technical integration of strategic planning with operational planning is made possible using the balanced scorecard (BSC). The use of one standardised platform for both prevents technological system disruptions. This is especially important for the planning of strategic measures as the key link between the BSC and operational planning, allowing time-consuming manual reconciliation of the BSC data and the operational plan data to be avoided.
